FBAR E-Filing

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FBARfiling.us.com collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our FBAR filing services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when using our FBAR filing service, including: full legal name, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN), current mailing address, email address and phone number, foreign financial account information (institution names, account numbers, maximum values, countries), identification documents you upload, electronic signature, and payment information (processed securely through our payment processors — we do not store your full credit card number).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to: prepare and electronically file your FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) with FinCEN through the BSA E-Filing system, process your payment, communicate with you about your filing status, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and improve our services.

3. Incomplete or Unpaid Submissions

If you begin but do not complete your filing, or if payment is not received, your partially submitted data may be retained temporarily to allow you to resume your filing. Data associated with incomplete or unpaid submissions may be deleted from our systems after a reasonable period of time.

4. Completed Submissions & Record Retention

For completed and paid filings, we retain your filing information for a period of six (6) years from the date of filing, consistent with FinCEN record retention requirements. After this period, your data may be securely deleted from our systems.

5. Sharing of Information

We share your information only as follows: with FinCEN, as required to file your FBAR through the BSA E-Filing system; with our payment processor (Square), solely to process your payment; with service providers who assist in operating our platform, subject to confidentiality obligations; and as required by law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including 256-bit SSL encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, access controls and authentication requirements, and regular security assessments. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session while completing the filing form, remember your language preference, analyze site usage and improve our services, and provide a secure experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our service.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
